Block and Hexter Vacation Center of Associated Camps, Inc. provides recreational and educational vacations for adults aged 55+. Set on 530 wooded acres with our own 60-acre spring-fed lake, the Vacation Center is located in the far northeastern corner of Pennsylvania in Poyntelle, PA. The Center serves up to 240 mature adults for one and two week holidays. Activities range from crafts, fine arts and ceramics, to fitness activities, aerobics, Yoga, tennis, shuffleboard, bingo, boating, fishing, swimming in our heated pool, hikes, dance, drama, computer instruction, choral group, discussions and trivia games.

We also feature a college-level lecture series that runs throughout the summer. In the evenings we offer many special events and theme nights, as well as professional entertainment and talent shows. Occasionally, we host Intergenerational programs with children from nearby camps. We are also an official sponsor of Elderhostel programs. Our facility features a large recreation hall, dining hall, art studios, a computer lab, tennis court, fully equipped fitness center, miles of nature trails, handball court, heated pool and whirlpool and lakeside pavilion. Guests are housed in private double rooms with private bathrooms set in nine guest buildings. Each building features its own private lounge with television. Two personal trainers on staff who will work with guests on an individual basis and also with large groups. Also has a fully equipped fitness center.

Block and Hexter Vacation Center is available to host retreats for organizations, synagogues, family events and simchas and school groups.
